Broncos Shutout By Pats

4-Feb-12

The Swift Current Broncos couldn't find a way past netminder Adam Beukeboom as they fell 4-0 to the Regina Pats at the Credit Union iPlex Friday night.

Los Angeles Kings' prospect Jordan Weal would open the scoring recording the lone goal of the first midway through.

In the second frame, Brandon Davidson, Morgan Klimchuk and Dryden Hunt would all tally singles within just over a five minute span to up the Pats lead to four.  The fourth goal would end netminder Jon Groenheyde's night as Austin Smith would fill in for the duration of play.

The scoring would halt from that point on as both goaltenders would deny any chances from either team resulting in a 4-0 Bronco loss.

The Broncos were outshot 37-27 and went 0/4 on the power play.

UP NEXT:  The Broncos welcome the Brandon Wheat Kings on Saturday night.  Then, the Broncos travel to Saskatoon to take on the Blades on Wednesday.
